About Lewis & Quark

A refreshingly fun quest for scientific knowledge.

In 1804, Lewis and Clark set upon their legendary expedition, to explore the frontiers of a new country. Today, we also push frontiers, but not of the geographical type. While the deepest oceans and farthest reaches of space still have yet to lead to exciting discovery, discovery can be had closer to home, as well. Twenty years ago, cold fusion reactors were centuries away. Now, they're available to mankind at the low price of 1.5 million dollars apiece. The study of life and creation are yielding new discoveries every day, and we still have a long way to go before we can break all the mysteries of the vast worlds of chemistry and physics.

The point being made here is that though we have broken through all kinds of frontiers in our thirst for knowledge, there is still an endless cavern of knowledge remaining to us, ready to be mined. Lewis and Clark's expedition may be a thing of long past, but the true quest for knowledge shall never be completely exhausted.
